Tony has had a hugely successful career both as a top sportsman and as a highly successful business leader. As a qualified Accountant (ACA) he has worked extensively both in practice and commerce. His involvement in sport at international level sparked his interest in organisational strategy and execution. Tony passionately believes in the model, which Apodi is bringing to the pharma/healthcare sectors and is totally committed to making Apodi the leading provider of high performance outsourcing solutions.
In his role as Executive Chairman, Steve focuses on the strategic direction of the organisation together with business development. Previously he was a co-founder of In2Focus (a specialist contract sales organisation) and prior to that he was on the board of Innovex UK as Director of Operations. Steve studied at Caledonian University, Glasgow, and received a BSc Honours degree in microbiology. Having moved through various senior sales and marketing roles in companies including Roche and GSK, Steve has attained a wealth of business experience in managing, running and proactively advancing businesses.

Joining Apodi following 15 years in the pharmaceutical sector, Lynn was most recently Head of Marketing and a founding member of a very successful contract sales organisation for which she had responsibility for the entire marketing function. Her role at Apodi includes developing the corporate marketing plan and strategy, internal communications programme and tactical implementation plans.
Regulatory and Compliance Director
Gillian has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years and has held several senior industry positions and significant second and third line manager positions. Gillian was Operations Director at Innovex and In2Focus, managing the delivery of multiple projects as well as having responsibility for training, talent development and resourcing. Her CSO operational management experience is extensive, having worked on the delivery of a vast range of projects for many pharmaceutical companies.
Director of HR
Sharon joined the Apodi board after more than 20 years in senior HR roles across a number of industries including IT, pharmaceuticals and recruitment services. During this time she was responsible for directing highly successful HR teams working in a range of small to large organisations. Her particular areas of expertise lie in the direction and development of HR and resourcing capability to augment business success in a commercial and practical manner.
Director of Finance
A founding director of Apodi, Lynne has extensive experience in the provision of finance and administrative services to a range of industry sectors. Recently, Lynne has been heavily involved in advising clients on business funding and the reorganisation and management of finance departments.
Dr Hywel Thomas
Non Exec Director
Hywel's role as a Non Exec Director, is to represent a group of Angel Investors who have provided seed capital funding to the company. Hywel's background is in healthcare having qualified from St Bartholomews Hospital Medical School in 1981. Hywel worked as a GP with special interest in Respiratory Medicine and Clinical Research. In 1997 with support from the ABPI and VC backing from GlaxoWellcome and HG Capital, Hywel founded and led Profiad, the UK's first network Site Managment Organisation. Hywel is able to offer advice on medical and strategic issues.

Steve works with the Apodi team to design innovative, high performance solutions to help clients achieve their objectives, and those of their stakeholders, in today’s fast-changing healthcare market and with the new NHS.
Steve has over 25 years of international biopharmaceutical and healthcare experience. Steve held a number of senior positions at Roche, Servier and Quintiles Transnational in marketing, sales, business development and general management. Steve has a proven track record in pro-actively helping to grow clients' businesses.
Innovations and Networks Director
Toby has worked in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and the NHS sectors for 16 years. He has specific experience of leading projects providing healthcare and disease management to thousands of patients via a variety of roles including development of NHS partnership projects for companies such as GSK, heading up the NHS strategy board for Takeda and delivering a value brands strategy for a large generic house. He has also worked directly with NHS organisations developing locality groups, creating their structure, business and delivery plans and re-designing primary care services. This combined experience led to the development of a private provider organisation delivering managed care programmes directly commissioned by the NHS nationally. Toby now has specific experience of leading projects providing healthcare and disease management to thousands of patients.
